RER A Summer work

2020 summer closure of RER A

As every summer since 2015, both RATP and SNCF teams will be mobilised to guide and assist you during the closure of RER line A.

This year’s engineering works are taking place in two stages and on two sections from 11 July to 30 August inclusive.

Service on RER line A will first be suspended between Auber and Vincennes stations, from 11 July to 7 August, every day starting at 21:00, all day on the weekend, and all day from 8 to 14 August.

After this, the line will be closed between Auber and Nanterre—Université • Cergy • Poissy stations from 15 to 30 August, every day starting at 21:00 and all day on the weekend. Eventually, service will also be suspended between Auber and La Défense stations, and no trains will be running to/from Poissy, all day from 17 to 21 August.

Nearly 100 workers are mobilised daily during these major engineering works taking place this summer.

Finally, like every year, in collaboration with its partners, RATP will be suggesting alternative solutions that will be communicated to you later on.

In the meantime, you can continue to visit this dedicated website that will be regularly updated, similar to the line’s Twitter account.

Many pedagogical and informational tools will soon allow you to prepare this period of traffic interruption on the line.
