Ideal for : groups of at least 10 young people and their accompanying adult(s)
How does it work ?
Are you an adult accompanying a group of at least 10 young people under age 16? Or a teacher accompanying a group of 10 or more middle or high school students (including grade 12), travelling as part of a school trip? You can benefit from a reduced fare!
You and your group can use reduced-fare t+ tickets or "group" tickets with a 50% fare reduction, in the metro, RER and train in the Île-de-France region. Note: reduced fares cannot be used in the bus or tramway networks nor on any of the airport connections (Orlyval, Orlybus, Roissybus, and Orly or Roissy CDG by RER).
To benefit from this fare reduction, the group's accompanying adult must present the station agent with a completed "youth group transport form". This form is available in all our metro and RER stations. After validation, the form can only be used on the day and routes indicated, without any interruptions to travel. It is not a transport ticket in itself but simply a supporting document justifying the right to a fare reduction. It must be presented during any ticket inspections, along with a reduced fare ticket for each member of the group.
Note: this fare reduction is not suitable for groups that plan to travel frequently over several days.
How many accompanying adults per group?
- Group of 10 youth: 1 accompanying adult benefits from the reduced fare
- Group of 11 to 20 youths: 2 accompanying adults benefit from the reduced fare
- Group of 21 to 30 youths: 3 accompanying adults benefit from the reduced fare
The group leader must carry a "Youth group transport form" duly completed and validated. One way or round trip tickets are provided in exchange for the youth group transport form, which allows the group to use the metro and/or RER, including any transfers, as part of school trips.
